A formal complaint was filed against a policeman who went berserk at the vaccination site in Magdiwang in Romblon.
According to Police Col. Christopher Abecia, Provincial Director of Romblon Police, an administrative case was filed against Patrolman Jerick Recto Rocha.
Abecia said the fight between the couple was the reason why the police went missing on July 29.
“Nagwala siya doon kasi magpapabakuna yung girlfriend niya. Parang pinaaalis o pinauuwi niya. Ngayon, nung ayaw sumama nung girlfriend, siyempre, gusto ng babae na mabakunahan na, parang nagwala na ito. Ang report, allegedly, lasing.Nakainom siya noon, so nagwala na. Nung pina-pacify nung mga pulis noon, nagre-resist pa siya,” said Abecia.
It was found out that an administrative case has already been filed against the said policeman for allegedly insulting the former chief of his station.
This is why the cop was moved to another station.

“Si Patrolman Rocha, dating assign yan sa Magdiwang MPS. Ngayon, mayroon isang insidente doon na nahuli siya noong chief-of-police sa Magdiwang MPS. Parang umalis siya sa duty niya. Tinanong siya, pinag-explain. At ang sabi, kakasuhan siya dahil nga doon sa pag-abandon niya dun sa post. Ngayon, parang sumagot siya nang pabalang ba dun sa chief-of-police niya. Dini-dare pa niya yung chief-of-police na, ‘Sige, kasuhan mo ako.’ So, ganun ang ginawa nung chief-of-police, nag-file siya ng administrative case,” said Abecia.
Apart from the two administrative cases that the police will face, he will also face the criminal case of alarm and scandal and resisting arrest that has already been filed with the fiscal.
According to Abecia, there is a high possibility that the police will be removed from service.
But it is also being considered for the police to be examined to find out if he has a mental disorder.
“Para masigurado natin, for another neuropsychiatric, baka naman hindi lang talaga – depende kasi yan. Hindi natin alam baka matigas lang ba talaga ang ulo niya, o baka naman meron siyang psychiatric o mental disorder,” said Abecia.
