Budget carrier Cebu Pacific has announced a two-day seat sale alongside new rules for baggage allowance.
On its website today (Thursday, January 10) the airline said that fares will start at just 299 pesos. The offer runs until Saturday.
The travel dates are from March 1 to June 30 this year.
For example, passengers from Cagayan De Oro wanting to go to Iloilo or Tagbilaran, Bohol, could get a seat for as little as 299 pesos.
At the same time, those wanting to travel from Cebu to Clark or from Clark to Davao can grab seats for 399 pesos.
Even some of the most popular routes are covered by the promo, with flights between Clark International and Boracay offered for as low as 799 pesos.
New baggage rules
Also today, the budget airline announced a new check-in baggage policy which will be implemented from next Tuesday (January 15).
In a travel advisory posted on its Facebook page, Cebu Pacific said they would strictly monitor the number of checked-in baggage based on the purchased weight allowance as follows:
- Standard (20 kilograms) – up to two pieces of baggage
- Large (32 kilograms) – up to three pieces of baggage
- Extra-Large (40 kilograms) – up to four pieces of baggage
It also reminded passengers that they can purchase additional baggage allowance up to four hours before their flights.
The airline has set the maximum weight for each individual piece of baggage at 32 kilograms.
Baggage allowance on connecting flights with the same booking references will be charged only once.
Strollers and mobility-assistive devices such as wheelchairs can still be checked in for free.
All passengers are allowed to bring one carry-on or hand-carry baggage inside the cabin with a maximum weight of seven kilograms and fits the overhead bins.
Passengers are also allowed to bring one small bag in the cabin that could fit under the seat.
