A police officer was hurt and knocked unconscious when he was attacked by a pair of car thieves in Quezon City yesterday morning
47-year-old Gerardo Granado is still confined to the Quezon City hospital with head injuries after two armed suspects took his Tamaraw FX from the front of his home in Regalado Avenue in Putik around 2.30am.
Granado said he was getting his things inside the vehicle when the two suspects appeared – one of the suspects tried to strangle him, while the other hit him on the head. The suspects fled with the vehicle leaving Granado unconscious – the officer lost his car, the contents of the vehicle as well as his service revolver.
