Bree Jonson pleading Julian Ongpin not to leave her for another woman – police

Bree Jonson was allegedly pleading with boyfriend Julian Ongpin not to leave her for another woman, P/Brig. Gen. Emmanuel Peralta said.

“Bree was pleading Julian not to leave her for another girl…Maaring yun and dahilan ng pag-aaway nila (maybe that’s the cause of their fight),” he said.

The revelation came after the Philippine National Police released the CCTV footage taken hours before the artist was found dead inside their hotel room in La Union.

According to PNP Chief Police General Guillermo Eleazar, Police Regional Office 1 gave the video amid probe on Jonson’s death.

said the footage showed Ongpin went outside the room and sat down on the stairs while drinking red wine.

Jonson then followed Ongpin and talked to him. The artist drank wine and went back inside the room “like they have an altercation with each other,” he said.

said the CCTV footage did not show any sign of struggle between Ongpin and Jonson.

“So what happened inside, wala pa tayong conclusion [We don’t have a conclusion yet regarding what happened inside the room],” he said.

However, Peralta said in the other part of the CCTV that was not given to the media, it showed how Julian Ongpin forcibly entered the bathroom where Bree Jonson allegedly locked herself in.

Peralta said Ongpin found a small ladder that he used to remove the jealousies in the bathroom. He also destroyed the bathroom door to reach Bree.

Ongpin claimed this is where he got the wounds on his arms and back.

The billionaire’s son earlier claimed he found Jonson hanging in the bathroom, so he untied her and put her on the bed, according to Philippine National Police chief Guillermo Eleazar.

“That’s part of the reenactment, sinabi nakita niya eh nakabigti tapos tinanggal niya at nilagay doon sa bed,” Eleazar said in a press briefing.

(He said that he saw her hanging, then untied her and placed her on the bed.)

“That is his recollection and his statement,” Eleazar added.
