A 12-year-old boy died while his 14-year-old friend was injured after being stabbed by drunk siblings who were their former neighbors in Cavite.
At around 11 pm on May 17, the 12-year-old and 14-year-old victims ate outside a private resort in Sitio Ilat, Barangay Ligas-2 in Bacoor City, Cavite. It’s just near their house.
An hour later, they were approached by 3 suspects who were siblings.
According to the 14-year-old victim, the suspects were drunk and asked why they were still outside the house. When they said they were going home, he was suddenly attacked, but he ran home to ask for help.
He was even rushed to the hospital while the 12-year-old friend was left behind, and he no longer knew what had happened.
It was 2 in the morning when the family of the 12-year-old was told what had happened, and he was worried about his friend.
The father of the 12-year-old searched for the child and found blood on the street just 50 meters away from their house.

When he followed the blood trail, the father saw the slipper on the bridge and in the middle of the darkness, they looked for it and then found the corpse on the side of the river.
The victim received up to 18 stab wounds to various parts of the body.
The 12-year-old’s parent is distraught because the suspects were their former neighbors and have known them since they were children. One of the suspects is still their neighbor today.
According to the suspects’ mother, since the crime took place, her children have not returned home and are still not communicating. The mother of the suspects promised to hand over her children when they return home.
The barangay chairman of Ligas-1 said that the suspects had been beat other before. The siblings also often got drunk and fought each other.
The suspects are set to be charged with murder, frustrated murder, and robbery because the 12-year-old victim’s cellphone went missing and was also allegedly taken by the siblings.
The 12-year-old victim was already buried while the friend was healing his neck wound.
