The Philippines could soon be giving Bali a run for its money as Australia’s favourite holiday destination with a stunning new flight deal.

For bookings made before Saturday, Cebu Pacific is offering one-way tickets between Sydney and Manila for only $110 (US).

The airline’s vice president for corporate affairs, Atty J R Mantaring said: “Operating a direct flight from Sydney to Manila, taking only approximately eight hours, it’s easy to see why so many people are deciding to visit the unspoiled tourist hot spots of the Philippines.”

The cut-price tickets are available between September 1, 2017, and March 31, 2018.

Mr Mantaring added: “From our Manila hub, travellers can fly on to a variety of great spots.
