Senator “Bong” Go’s son ranked third in the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) board exam 2019.
Christian Lawrence Go from De La Salle University (DLSU) got a score of 89.50%. Professional Regulation Commission released a list of CPA board 2019 passers on Monday, October 21, 2019.
Christian was a gold medalist, Jose Rizal Honors Society member, and graduated summa cum laude from DLSU.
“I am very proud of my son. Go said in a press statement.
(I can’t describe how happy I am. Incidentally, we were both in the top 3 — I was in the last election, and he is now on the CPA licensure exams.)
(After several years of studying, the sacrifice paid off. As a father, I have no other desire but to see my children succeed. Hope he can be more successful in his life.)
Senator Go also encouraged the new certified public accountants to serve the country using their profession.
Justine Louie Bautista Santiago of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) was this year’s top notcher with 90.33%. Marlou Borbon Alinsonorin of University of San Carlos (USC) landed second with 89.67%.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said that only 2,075 out of 14,492 (14.32%) passed the exams.
