Bill Gates and family enjoy short summer break in El Nido Palawan

The world’s richest man and his family reportedly spent a brief vacation in El Nido, Palawan this week.

Speculations were drawn on the visit of the Microsoft co-founder, but in the end Bill and Melinda Gates, along with two of their three children spent three days in Palawan at the Amanpulo Resort.

Reports are saying that the billionaire wants to invest in the region, however that appears to be merely a rumour at the moment.

The Amanpulo Resort is an exclusive high-end vacation location overlooking the Sulu Sea. Gates and his family flew there by private helicopter after landing in the Philippines.

Gates and his family flew back to Manila on Wednesday and departed the country to an unknown destination.
