Band Ben&Ben twins Paolo and Miguel Guico would be offering songwriting online classes for aspiring composers and singers through MYX’s online class project.
Paolo and Miguel would start teaching on how to write songs on September 26 at 4 p.m.
The Ben&Ben twins’ class would have 100 slots, all of which were already filled just an hour after registration opened, according to MYX on September 21.
Miguel and Paolo’s class on Saturday is only the first part of the music channel’s “MYX Musiclass” project, where several OPM artists are set to teach virtual music classes.
The second and third classes would be on music production and vocal performance, according to MYX.
In July, Ben&Ben released its song “Nakikinig Ka Ba Sa Akin” Wednesday evening with lyrics inspired by the quarantine brought by the COVID-19 pandemic.

A raw version of the song was released in April. “Naglalagay pa lang kami ng instruments ng band this week, can’t wait,” Ben&Ben said back then.
Aside from “Nakikinig Ka Ba Sa Akin,” the nine-piece collective band also released “Lifetime” amid the lockdown. The song was inspired by the love story of a certain “Anne jou” who shared her experience in loving her best friend in secret, only to find out years after that he was once in love with her too. Unfortunately, the guy was about to get married when they admitted they had feelings for each other.
Amid the pandemic, the band also released new song entitled “Lifetime” with tearjerker lyrics inspired by their fan’s real-life heartbreak story.
“Lifetime” was released on June 4 and was written by the band’s lead vocalists, twins Paolo and Miguel Guico.
