Bea Alonzo confirmed her relationship with Dominic Roque after speculations. However, the actress clarified that she did not want to keep it a secret from the public.
On Monday, the actress revealed this in Nelson Canlas’ Chika Minute report on GMA News “24 Oras”.
“It wasn’t as if like masyado ko siyang plano or masyado ako nag-hold back. It just came out naturally,” said Bea.
Although it wasn’t easy for her to share it with the public, Bea said she was happy she did it.
“It’s not like I was trying to hide it. I think I was trying to be careful, given my past experience. Siyempre gusto kong masiguro muna kung saan siya pupunta bago siya gawing official,” said the Kapuso star.
“We only live once, and happiness is best when shared. I want to share my happiness,” she added.
According to Bea, she was just careful because of what she had experienced before.

“Masyado akong careful. I’m afraid magkamali in front of the public eh ganon talaga ang buhay. Minsan nagkakamali, bumabangon ka, and then you learn from your mistakes, and then you move on,” she said.
“Even sa past relationships ko, ‘di naman ako super open about it. I think most treasured moments ng relationship ay ‘yung moments na ‘di na-she-share sa social media. I want to keep it that way,” she added.
Bea and Dominic have previously been rumored as a couple, but it only intensified when they were seen together at the airport when the actress was on vacation in America.
After that, the two have already posted a photo confirmed together in America, along with their friends.
Recently, the two returned to the country, and Bea is already preparing for her upcoming projects as a Kapuso.
Bea Alonzo has an upcoming project with Kapuso actor Alden Richards in a movie inspired by the Japanese series “Pure Soul,” which has been remade into the hit South Korean movie “A Moment to Remember.”
