Toblerone Muffins – For The Holidays and Throughout the Year

Who doesn’t love Toblerone Chocolate? Now that it’s close to the Holidays in the Philippines and around the world, it’s time to make up some unique little paskong pang regalo’

For those who have that little sweet tooth, here’s a recipe for Toblerone Muffins. These bite size muffins are a great gift idea as well as a perfect ending to a Christmas party.

So here’s a little yummy for your tummy this holiday season.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of plain flour
  • 1/4 cup of cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 1/3 cup of brown sugar
  • 60g butter (melted and cooled)
  • 1/3 cup of milk
  • 1 egg (lightly whisked)
  • 100g Toblerone milk chocolate (chopped-or chunked depending on preference)

Method:

  • Preheat Oven to 350 degrees
  • Grease two 12-hole mini muffin pans (or line with cases
  • Sift flour – cocoa – baking powder in a bowl
  • Stir in sugar and make a well in the center
  • Whisk butter – milk – and egg in different bowl
  • Pour into well while adding chocolate and gently fold or roll till combined
  • Fill each muffin well ¾ full with mixture
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes – making sure you give it a stick test to assure center is baked
  • Let muffins cool for about five minutes and serve warm or as desired
