An Australian visitor to the Philippines fell into a two-foot hole after he arrived at Manila’s NAIA Airport, Terminal 2.
Harry Hansen was on his way to the immigration counter when the tiled floor he was standing on suddenly collapsed. The incident happened on July 25, but was only admitted yesterday.

Mr Hansen, who had arrived from Hong Kong, was extracted from the hole by airport workers. He was uninjured.
Airport employees took the above photograph of the hole that swallowed the unfortunate Aussie.
An airport spokesman confirmed the incident – saying that appropriate actions were being taken to prevent any similar incidents.
