So far, at least 73 people have been rounded up and arrested for their part in a clean up of the Southern Police Districts (also known as Makati, Taguig, Muntinlupa, Parañaque, Pasay, Pateros and Las Piñas Police Districts).
Dubbed the “One Time, Big Time Operation,” the Southern Police Districts arrested a total of 73 people, seized 63 stolen motorcycles and confiscated four illegal firearms in the raids.
So far out of the group, 41 were arrested for Republic Act 9165 (the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2012), 11 were arrested on outstanding warrants, while 21 others were held for violations of city and municipal ordinances.
The firearms seized in the raids included a 12-guage shotgun, a .38 calibre handgun, an Intratec 9mm sub-machine gun and a vintage m16 rifle. Also discovered were bullets, illegal drugs and numerous pieces of drug paraphernalia.
A Southern Police Districts spokesman said that this was the fifth “One Time, Big Time” police operation since the middle of the year.
