Police rescued at least 30 Chinese women from an alleged sex den inside a hotel in Makati City, late Monday night.
According to Makati City police chief Rogelio Simon, an informant tipped off that the hotel was a front for a Chinese sex den, which provides service to Philippine offshore gaming operator (POGO) Chinese workers.
Police also seized condoms, “care kits,” and cigarette lighters with QR codes, which the women allegedly use to connect with their customers.
Like the prostitution den in high-end KTV-bar police raided last month, customers book the women using a Chinese social media app. The bar was also in Makati, wherein 91 Chinese women were rescued along with four Pinay hotel cleaners.
This is the fourth raid on a prostitution den involving Chinese women in Metro Manila since last month.
On September 4, 6 Vietnamese rescued from the Chinese prostitution den in Makati City.
On September 18, over 50 Chinese women rescued at prostitution den in Parañaque City.
On September 30, 91 Chinese women, 4 Pinay rescued from high-end KTV bar in Makati City.
This a developing story, more details to follow.
