Arjo Atayde celebrated his 30th birthday in an intimate gathering with his family and girlfriend, Maine Mendoza.
The actor spent his birthday today, November 5, at home, as seen in his mother’s Sylvia Sanchez’s Instagram post.
Sanchez posted photos of the simple celebration filled with food, a handful of cakes and drinks. Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde could be seen all smiles next to each other; his sister, “Chika Besh” host Ria, was also attended the party.
“Masaya ako anak @arjoatayde kasi alam kong masayang masaya ka (I am happy Arjo because I know you are so happy),” the “Pamilya Ko” actress told her son.
Maine Mendoza, meanwhile, posted a simple birthday greeting for Arjo Atayde.
“Happy birthday,” Maine simply wrote, ending her greeting with a heart emoji. In the photo, she tagged Arjo.
The couple kept their relationship private and only confirmed that they were “exclusively dating” in January 2019.
At the press conference of his movie ‘TOL, Arjo was asked if he and Maine were already in a relationship.

Arjo answered: “No, but we are exclusively dating, and I’m the happiest right now. Hanggang doon na lang po muna.”
When asked what he liked most about Maine, she said, “Everything. I’m just really happy. She makes me laugh all the time.”
Arjo also earlier admitted receiving insults because of her relationship with the half of phenomenal AlDub (Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza as Yaya Dub.)
“But to insult my family and Maine…sabi ko nga sa social media, I let it go. Wala akong kalaban diyan. Do it in front of me, I’m sure I’m gonna hit the hell out of you.”
He repeated: “If they disrespect me, it’s fine. But for my family to get affected, for Maine to be disrespected like anything, that’s not okay with me.”
AlDub was a popular pairing in the Philippines, which first appeared in the Kalyeserye portion of the “Juan for All, All for Juan” segment of the variety show Eat Bulaga!. They were also called the “phenomenal love team” due to their rise in popularity after being accidentally paired on July 16, 2015.
