A lawmaker in Argentina has been suspended after he kissed his life partner on the chest while attending a videoconference session. The scandal immediately spread on social media.
According to a report by Agence France-Presse, lawmakers – including former controversial Juan Emilio Ameri – can be seen on a large video screen placed in the assembly.
As a legislator speaks, Ameri can be seen on the screen flirting with a woman sitting next to him.
Sometime later, Ameri, a representative of Salta province, took off the woman’s clothes and started kissing her breast.
As a result, Speaker Sergio Massa briefly adjourned the session, which was later resumed.
“The whole time we have been teleworking these past months, we have had several incidents where deputies fell asleep, or another hid, but today we had a situation that really overstepped the boundaries of this house,” said Massa.
Ameri, 47, was shocked by what happened and apologized. The Argentina lawmaker said he thought his internet was not connected at that moment.

“Here in the center of the country, the connection is very poor. My partner came out of the bathroom, and I asked her how her implants were doing, and I kissed them, because she had surgery ten days ago to have them put in,” the Argentina lawmaker explained.
Because of what he did, the assembly leadership suspended him for five days.
Meanwhile, in the Philippines, a similar incident occurred after a barangay chairman and his treasurer was caught having sex during an online Zoom meeting of barangay officials in Dasmariñas City, Cavite.
It was learned that Brgy. Fatima 2 chairman Jesus Estil and all barangay officials of the city would have scheduled a zoom meeting to discuss COVID-19 cases in their barangays.
Estil thought that the camera of his cellphone was off, so he approached his treasurer, and they had sex while all the barangay officials of the city watch.
The barangay officials already resigned after engaging in the reported illicit act. The barangay chairman apologized over the sex video.
