Vatican media will broadcast the prayer at the Antipolo Cathedral.

“During each day of May, guided by a calendar with specific intentions, all the Shrines around the world, united in a communion of supplication, will lift up their prayers, which, like the fragrance of incense, will rise up to heaven,” according to the liturgical guide published by the Pontifical Council for the Promotion of the New Evangelization.

“Thirty Marian Shrines will take turns leading this prayer throughout the Church and offering the faithful a series of prayer moments for them to participate throughout the entire day.”

According to Fr. Nante Tolentino, rector of the National Shrine of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage, a blessing to include the Church of Antipolo among the number of Marian shrines around the world.

Tolentino said it is important for the community to participate in the prayers of the churches to express the united demand now that the pandemic has been going on for more than a year.
