Amazon offers exclusive reward points to the Amazon Pay Card users. Amazon rewards Prime customers and Non-prime customers with 5% and 3% cashback on shopping groceries, mobiles, clothing, and more from Amazon. Additionally, cardholders also earn 2% cashback on Amazon Payload and reload, bill payments, and mobile and DTH recharge.
Users are also rewarded with 2% cashback from 100+ Amazon Pay partner merchants on using this card as payment method.
Culinary Treat Program
Moreover, cardholders also gain 15% off on dining bills at over 2,500 restaurants across India through Culinary Treats Programme, as an exclusive ICICI Bank privilege.
Fuel Surcharge Waiver
Cardholders are entitled to a 1% waiver on fuel surcharge across all petrol pumps in India.
This cashback is directly transferred to the users’ Amazon Pay account as the Amazon Pay balance, which can be redeemed across 16 crores+ products on Amazon, and across 100+ Amazon Pay partner merchants. These cashback and earnings have no expiry date at all.
How to Apply?
Since this is the initial stage, Amazon is offering these cards to selected customers through invitation only. ICICI customers who have been regularly using Amazon’s mobile application shall get the invitation in the form of push notifications from Amazon app and through email. On meeting the eligibility criteria, customers can apply for the card online.
However, individuals can also visit the ICICI Bank website and visit the Amazon Pay ICICI Credit Card section. On clicking the “Apply Now” button, you will be redirected to Amazon’s market page where you will see another “Apply Now” button which can be seen by invited members only.
ICICI Bank has set certain eligibility parameters in order to apply for the Amazon Pay Credit Card. These parameters include several factors like age, credit score, city of residence, and income sources. Further details on the eligibility criteria can be known once an application request is sent.
If you meet the eligibility criteria, you are required to submit documents that prove your eligibility. Identity proof, Resident proof documents like Aadhar Card, Passport, Voter’s Card, and Income proof like bank statements, salary slips are some of the few acceptable documents.
The Amazon Pay Card is currently available in 35 selected cities only. Mumbai, Mysore, Pune, Ghaziabad, Delhi, Chennai, Chandigarh, Gurgaon, Hyderabad to name a few. However, Amazon’s marketing department is working on bringing the credit card service to other parts of the country as well.
