Alden Richards, Bea Alonzo to star in a movie

For the first time, Alden Richards and Bea Alonzo will team up for a movie. To carry out the project, three large film companies will join forces.

In a Chika Minute report by Nelson Canlas on GMA News “24 Oras” on Tuesday, it was said that the movie starring Alden and Bea will be based on the Japanese series “Pure Soul,” which became the hit Korean movie “A Moment To Remember.”

Alden and Bea will play the role of a couple facing their trials due to the early development of Alzheimer’s disease.

“Wala akong natututunan kung laging doon lang ako sa mga comfortable na roles. Pero ngayon after ko siyang basahin, masaya ako na mas lamang ‘yung kaba kasi hindi biro ‘yung role,” Alden said.

“Sa totoo lang nakaka-pressure. Kanina coming here I was so anxious, kinakabahan talaga ako because hindi ko rin naman alam what to expect. But then right now I feel so comfortable,” Bea Alonzo said.

“I feel comfortable with Alden, I feel comfortable with the ones I just met, the bosses of these three film outlets,” the actress added.

Alden Richards considers the movie project with Bea Alonzo a dream come true.

“Gusto ko siyang maka-work sana sa movie kasi nasubaybayan ko halos lahat ng movies nila ni John Lloyd Cruz,” said Alden who had previously admitted to idolizing the love team of the two.

“Ang hindi niya [Alden] alam gusto ko rin talaga siyang makatrabaho. Kasi I have seen his movie with Kathryn and I thought he did a very good job with the character. I wanna be able to have that chance to actually work with him in a project and develop characters with him,” Bea said.

Alden Richards and Bea’s workshop is just beginning and the lock-in shooting is being carefully planned.

GMA Pictures, Viva Films, and APT Entertainment have teamed up for the project.

GMA Films President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, APT Entertainment Inc CEO and President Mike Tuviera, and Viva Communications Inc. President and COO Vincent del Rosario signed the agreement.

“We want to give this movie an international flavor talaga, lalo na with having both Alden and Bea together in it. So we feel that this project is perfect talaga for the both of them,” Atty. Gozon said.
