Airbus has training centres throughout the globe including Toulouse, France, Miami, Florida, Hamburg, Germany, Beijing, China, and Bangalore, India, as well as other field offices throughout the world.

Lieutenant General William Hotchkiss III, CAAP (Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines) director general, said in a release yesterday that the aircraft manufacturing division of Airbus Group picked the Philippines as the site of a new centre. With that comes fiscal and non-fiscal incentives such as income tax holidays, duty free importation of capital equipment and numerous other incentives to assist the company in finding a formidable place to build the training center in the Philippines.

Hotchkiss said Airbus SAS representative Thierry Martin sought the endorsement of CAAP for the planned training centre equipped with a new Airbus A330/A340 Full Flight Simulator and associated suite of devices on top of two A320 simulators.
