ABS-CBN Entertainment becomes leading YouTube channel in Southeast Asia

ABS-CBN Entertainment is the leading YouTube channel in the whole of Southeast Asia after it recorded the most subscribers and the most views on all channels in the region.

The ABS-CBN Entertainment YouTube channel reached 32.7 million subscribers and more than 43 billion views this February, according to global video measurement and analytics platform Tubular Labs.

“Nagpapasalamat kami sa lahat ng mga naka-subscribe sa aming YouTube channel at patuloy na nanonood ng ABS-CBN entertainment shows online. Ibinabahagi namin ang pagkilalang ito sa lahat ng aming mga Kapamilyang patuloy na minamahal at sinusuportahan ang aming mga palabas,” statement by Cory Vidanes, ABS-CBN’s chief operating officer for broadcast.

“Patuloy kaming gagawa ng mga kuwento at karanasang nagbibigay ng saya at inspirasyon at maghahanap pa ng mga paraan para maabot at mapaglingkuran ang aming mga Kapamilya,” she said.

There are many more new shows waiting for the channel’s subscribers this year, with the arrival of the teleseries “Huwag Kang Mangamba,” “La Vida Lena,” Tagalized episodes of “Count Your Lucky Stars” by Jerry Yan, “Init sa Magdamag,” and ” Almost Paradise, “the first American TV series to be shot in the Philippines and co-produced by ABS-CBN.

All of this can be watched on Kapamilya Online Live, where ABS-CBN shows are broadcast live. Viewers can repeat the latest episodes of the program in seven days.

“Malaking bahagi ng tagumpay ng aming YouTube channel ang Kapamilya Online Live dahil doon umaasa ang ating mga Kapamilya na hindi kami napapanood sa TV. Nagpapasalamat kami sa aming subscribers na laging nakaabang sa mga paborito nilang programa at nakikipagbalitaktakan kasama ang iba pang tumututok sa live chat at habang gap shows,” according to ABS-CBN digital content publishing head Richard Reynante.

Apart from ABS-CBN Entertainment, other ABS-CBN YouTube channels such as ABS-CBN News (11.8 million subscribers and 7.4 billion views), Star Music (6.2 million subscribers and 2.5 billion views), “Pinoy Big Brother” (4.2 million subscribers and 2.3 billion views), Star Cinema (4 million subscribers and 1.2 billion views), “The Voice Kids Philippines” (2.6 million subscribers and 1.4 billion views), and The Squad Plus (2.8 million subscribers and 245 million views ) are also booming.
