ABS-CBN’s ‘ASAP Natin To’ replaces ‘SNL’ on TV5

ABS-CBN’s Sunday musical noon-time “ASAP Natin ‘To” replaces “Sunday Noontime Live!” on TV5 starting January 24.

Aside from this “FPJ: Da King,” a movie block that shows Fernando Poe, Jr.’s movies, would also air on TV5. It would be every Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m.

Sunday Noontime Live! was a Philippine musical variety show broadcast on TV5 which premiered on October 18, 2020. Sunday Noontime Live! was presented by a lineup of ABS-CBN, Star Magic and Cornerstone Entertainment talents led by Piolo Pascual, Maja Salvador, Catriona Gray, Donny Pangilinan, Ricci Rivero and Jake Ejercito.

Sunday Noontime Live! marks the return of a Sunday musical variety show on TV5 after more than four years since the end of Happy Truck ng Bayan and a decade after the launch of the pioneering P.O.5.

However, after just three months on the air, the show, along with Sunday ‘Kada aired their final episodes. Its timeslot will be filled by a simulcast of ASAP.

Launched in 1995, “ASAP Natin ‘To” showcases the country’s veteran artists such as Martin Nievera, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Gary Valenciano, Sarah Geronimo, Erik Santos, Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez-Alcasid.
