National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) raided and rescued 91 Chinese women and four Filipinas from an alleged prostitution den and high-end KTV bar in Makati city, late Monday night.

NBI Anti-Fraud Division executive officer and lawyer Jun Astreto said a Chinese national tipped that the bar was being used as prostitution front.

The authorities then placed the establishment under surveillance for two weeks. The NBI stormed the bar after their asset was able to book a Filipina woman for P29,000 using an online application.

According to reports, customers can choose among displayed women for at least P15,000 each.

“They will give you a VIP room, where you can choose the women,” Astreto said.

Just like the raided Chinese prostitution den in Parañaque City last month, the KTV bar won’t allow Filipino customers unless they have a Chinese companion.

“Dahil sa hirap ng buhay… Ano ka lang naman sa guest, sasabayan mo lang silang uminom, ganun lang,” one of the victims told ABS-CBN News.

Used condoms found in KTV bar’s comfort rooms

Authorities found several used condoms in the KTV bar’s comfort rooms which can be used as evidence.

Those arrested will be charged a violation of the Republic Act 10364 or the Expanded Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2012.

The KTV bar was already the third alleged prostitution den involving Chinese nationals authorities have raided.

On September 4, 6 Vietnamese rescued from the Chinese prostitution den in Makati City.

On September 18, over 50 Chinese women rescued at prostitution den in Parañaque City.
