Government agents rescued 63 suspected victims of human trafficking in several raids in Imus, Cavite on Thursday.
The operation was prompted by complaints sent to the Presidential Anti-Organised Crime Commission.
NBI and Navy Intelligence found the victims inside two safe-houses of a human trafficking syndicate. The group Mobashier is believed to have used the two homes to hold illegally recruited people.
The raid also included the Department of Social Welfare and Development as well as local barangay officials from Imus.
