5-year-old girl kidnapped, killed suspect arrested

Authorities arrested the suspect for abduction, murder and attempted rape of a 5-year-old girl and kindergarten student yesterday morning in Brgy. Sto. Christ, San Del Monte City.

P / Lt.Col Orlando Castil Jr., police chief, identified the suspect as Eman Lambuhon, 24, a construction worker and resident of Blk. 9, Lot 6, Yein St., Brgy. Kaypian, San Del Monte City.

Earlier, police received a report that the suspect met with a friend in the said village around 11:00 pm.

Accordingly, the police immediately went to the area at around 12:20 am and arrested the suspect.

Lambuhon allegedly abducted and killed his young neighbour Princess Angela Langomez of Blk. 10, Lot 11, Euro St., Brgy. Kaypian on Sunday at 3:30 am. Investigations show the suspect was high on drugs and was drunk when he committed the crime.

Neighbours just woke up the victim’s mother and said they saw the suspect carrying the child and took her in the crime scene, only a few meters away from their home.

The suspect was about to rape the child, but he panicked and got terrified when he sensed that people are coming, so he hit the 5-year-old girl in the head, causing her death.

The suspect is now facing murder charges.
