4 injured in sports car vs. van collision

Four occupants of the van were injured after the van and a luxury sports car collided at the intersection of Macapagal Boulevard and Aseana Avenue in Parañaque early Wednesday morning.

With the force of the impact, the van even tilted. Almost all the windows and glass of the van were destroyed. The front of the yellow sports car was also damaged. The car’s airbag inflated, and the glass was scattered on the road.

Four people in the van were immediately taken to the hospital. The foreigner was driving the luxury vehicle, and he was in good condition.

According to a witness, the sports car was beating the red light and collided with the van.

It is not yet clear where the vehicles came from or were going, but the incident happened outside a casino hotel.

The Parañaque Traffic sector is still investigating the cause of the collision.


Fire broke out in Barangay Holy Spirit, QC

Authorities are searching for a man allegedly involved in a fire in Barangay Holy Spirit, Quezon City, Wednesday morning.

Residents of Barangay Holy Spirit were upset early after a row of houses in Area 6B caught fire at around 4 p.m.

According to preliminary information from SFO1 Leo Tumbaga of the Bureau of Fire Protection-Quezon City, the fire started at the Allid Family’s house.

The fire reached its first alarm after the fire spread to 8 houses. They are all made of light materials.

An estimated 16 families lost their homes due to the fire.

Angela Allid said that before their house was set on fire, she also received threats from her ex-partner several times.

Every time she tried to break up, she said, the man tried to burn down her house, but they immediately put out the fire.

This is the third time the man has committed arson, according to the villagers.

According to other house occupants, the man first drove them out of the house before setting the fire.

The BFP will investigate this and is currently looking for the man who allegedly fled at the height of the fire.
