4 found dead in Tagaytay creek

Four dead bodies were found in a creek in Tagaytay city. The victims were reported missing in Bacoor City, Cavite on Dec. 19.

Three of the four victims were identified as Lino Quilaneta, Mark Ian Endrina, and Gleiar Bondoc.

Respondents retrieved the bodies of Quilaneta and Endrina in a creek along the Tagaytay Sampaloc road in Barangay San Jose at around 2 p.m. on Tuesday.

The other victims were found in the deeper portion of the creek on Wednesday.

According to the police, the Department of Public Works and Highway found the corpses when they smelled a foul odor coming from the creek.

The report added the victims and unidentified teenagers were snatched by unidentified men while they were drinking in Barangay Ligas 1.

The three teenagers were released in Las Piñas City but the four victims were later found dead in a creek in Tagaytay.

Police are conducting an ongoing investigation regarding the incident.

Party drugs seller arrested in Quezon City

Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) personnel arrested an alleged supplier of party drugs in a buy-bust operation in Bgy. South Triangle, Quezon City Wednesday afternoon.

The suspect was identified as Jhun Cabayan alias Sky High, 33 years old and a resident of Pasig City.

According to PDEA spokesperson Dir. Derrick Carreon, PDEA Special Enforcement Service agent conducted a transaction with Cabayan inside the car on Mother Ignacia Avenue.

After handing over the payment for the box containing party drugs, other agents entered the vehicle to arrest the suspect.

He was found in possession of 23 tablets of ecstasy and 25 capsules of “fly-high” allegedly a mixture of ecstasy, shabu, and the Chinese version of viagra.

300 mL of liquid ecstasy which was added to alcoholic drinks was also recovered from the suspect.

According to the PDEA, the seized drugs cost P171,600.

Cabayan is facing charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
