3 Nigerians arrested for allegedly selling illegal drugs, guns

3 Nigerian men were arrested during an anti-drug operation by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Angeles and Angeles City Police Office in Barangay Cutcut, Angeles city, Pampanga Thursday.

According to Police Brig. Gen. Valeriano De Leon, head of Police Regional Office 3, all members of the drug group Mr. Izo were arrested.

The said group is allegedly behind the sale of illegal drugs and guns in Angeles and neighboring areas.

Two of the Nigerians live in Balibago, Angeles, while the other is in Barangay Mabiga, Mabalacat city.

11 sachets of suspected shabu weighing 25 grams worth P170,000 were confiscated from 3 men.

Police also seized 35 grams of marijuana, a .38 caliber, and 7 cellphones.

The Nigerian suspects will now face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act and illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.

5 on NCRPO’s most wanted list arrested in separate manhunt ops

Five men on the National Capital Region Police Office’s most wanted list fell in jail after they were caught in 4 separate manhunt operations Thursday.

In Mulanay town, Quezon province, Cubao Police personnel tracked down 2 of their most wanted suspects.

They caught in the operation alias Jerick and alias Alvin who were in the top 3 on the station list.

The 2 suspects have a warrant of arrest from the Metropolitan Trial Court Branch 40 in Quezon City for attempted homicide and slight physical injuries.

Taguig Police personnel caught the Top 8 on their most wanted list, alias Joward, a construction worker in the operation on General Santos Avenue, Lower Bicutan Taguig.

The suspect has an arrest warrant for the carnapping case.

The Paranaque Police issued a warrant of arrest for the rape case to alias Mark during their operation in Barangay Sto. Nino.

The suspect’s warrant states that he can post bail of P200,000.

In Muntinlupa City, police arrested construction worker Archie with a standing warrant of arrest for carnapping.

The arrested suspects are currently in the custody of the operating units that arrested them while processing their documentation and return of warrants.
