Three men died after their boat capsized in Laguna Lake near Talim Island in Rizal on Saturday afternoon.
At around 4:45 pm, the boat capsized, which was immediately responded to by disaster officials and other rescue teams.
The 4 passengers were rescued but the bodies of 3 of their fellow passengers were found this Sunday morning.
Authorities identified the victims as Renato Parabuan Baylon, 48; King Richard Escala Gaylon, 20; and John Lourence Jarinio Escala, 15.
The victims were all residents of Los Baños, Laguna.
According to Corp. Laurence Lumbres, Los Baños police investigator the victims were on their way to a fiesta when the incident happened.
The remains of the victims have been brought to the funeral home in Laguna.

Man arrested for allegedly raping 15-year-old girl in Bulacan
The San Jose del Monte PNP arrested a 20-year-old man accused of raping 1 minor woman in Barangay Minuyan Proper, San Jose del Monte City, Bulacan.
According to the 15 -year -old victim’s aunt, she caught the suspect’s threats on the victim’s cellphone.
The suspect allegedly sent obscene videos to the victim.
The suspect and the victim live next door, so they can easily meet. He even threatened the child not to report it to anyone.
According to the aunt, the suspect really exploited her niece.
This Saturday, the two were caught together in a haystack and the man was naked.
The suspect’s defense was that he was the girl’s boyfriend and the victim’s sister was just fighting with him. He allegedly did not hurt the victim.
The suspect is set to be charged with statutory rape.
Over P1 million worth of drugs seized in Metro Manila
Five drug suspects were arrested in separate anti-illegal drug operations in Quezon City, Taguig, and Manila.
The seized drugs amount to more than P1 million.
In Quezon City, QCPD Station 5 caught a man alias Tadz in a buy-bust in Barangay Greater Fairview.
The suspect was found in possession of several sachets of suspected shabu weighing 80 grams. The drugs cost P544,000.
In Manila, 3 suspects were arrested by MPD Station 5 at the corner of Taft and Ayala in Ermita.
They seized 4 sachets of suspected drugs with a street value of P173,000.
