3 collisions in QC, Manila, and Pasig; 2 dead

Two female car passengers were killed after a truck collided with the C5 flyover in Pasig City early Monday morning.

This is the third of 3 road crashes in Metro Manila recorded by ABS-CBN since last night.

The car with 4 occupants is a total wreck. It was speeding northbound of the flyover near the Ortigas interchange when it collided at around 2 p.m.

The male drivers and passengers in the front were safe but wounded. But the 2 women in the back got stuck.

The driver told the responding MMDA enforcer that they were hit by a truck and ran away.

Pasig police are still investigating.

The MMDA is still working on the way to get the car off the flyover.

The gas tank was damaged in front of a bus after hitting a concrete barrier at EDSA Cubao in Quezon City Sunday night.

The driver and lone passenger of the bus, Reynaldo Paular, was not injured.

He said he was on his way to Caloocan to pick up vaccinees in Bulacan when he ran into bus barriers in the northbound lane.

The driver defended he dodged 2 cars that he said were racing, so he hit the barrier on the left.

He swerved right after it and went to the sidewalk on the other side of the road.

Oil also leaked from a gas tank containing 400 liters, so the vehicle avoided an EDSA lane.

They used paper to reduce the oil before spraying it with water.

Meanwhile, two motorcycle riders were injured when they collided near Luneta in Manila just before 2 p.m.

They collided at the intersection of Padre Burgos and Roxas Boulevard.

Riders and passengers of the TNVS service are the riders of the Padre Burgos motorcycle turn from Bonifacio Drive.

The rider of the motorbike from Roxas Boulevard is a call center agent.

On the force of the impact, 3 riders flew away. The 2 riders who were taken to different hospitals had difficulty standing.

The investigator is still investigating the whole incident.
