In just six days, two policemen were abducted separately by armed men in Manila.
In a report by Jonathan Andal on GMA News TV “Balitanghali” on Thursday, around 10 armed men abducted Police Corporal Alan Hilario in Binondo on Saturday while he was on duty.
On Wednesday, armed men in two vehicles in Sta Mesa blocked the suspended Police Patrolman Real Tesoro.
CCTV on V. Mapa Extension in Sta. Mesa captured the suspects blocking Tesoro while he and his live-in partner was riding a motorcycle.
The victim was beaten on the head before the suspects forced him into the SUV, leaving his live-in partner behind.
(My husband said, ‘Sir, what is this? I am not doing anything wrong. ’He pointed a gun at him and said, ‘Go inside, get on.’)
(I did not know if they are cops because based on what they are wearing, they have bullet vests and guns.)
2 cops separately ‘abducted’ in Manila
The suspects also took the woman’s purse containing her cellphone and P36,000 cash.
In an interview with Super Radyo dzBB on Thursday, Manila Police District chief Police Brigadier General Leo Francisco said they are investigating the two incidents and investigating whether they are related.
(We are studying whether these two cases of abduction here in Manila are related. If you really look, it is planned, their modus operandi is almost the same.)
Francisco also said that a special investigation task group has been formed to investigate Hilario’s case.
