The Department of Health (DOH) reported that 18 of the 47 Delta variant cases did not receive a COVID-19 vaccine.
The DOH did not disclose which fatalities, recoveries, and active cases were vaccinated against COVID-19.
Meanwhile, Vergeire said 22 were local Delta variant cases, and 24 were returning overseas Filipinos (ROFs). The DOH is still verifying whether one case is a local or an RO.
Seven patients were residents of Metro Manila, including Manila, Pasig, and Taguig.
Six other Delta variant cases were logged in Region 6, two in Region 4A, two in Region 6, and six in Region 10.
Thirty-two or 76% of the Delta variant cases are males, while patients were aged 14 to 79 years old.
