The 2015 World Game Fishing Tournament is scheduled for April 9-12 in Surigao.
The tournament is attracting anglers from Australia, United Kingdom, France, Hungary, Spain, Israel, Canada, Malaysia, Russia, Taiwan, Singapore, Japan, the United States and numerous other European and Asian countries. The tournament has attracted over 100 international anglers to the vent this year.

The fishermen will compete to catch the largest bony fish in the open sea off the town of Pilar at the “Paradise Island of Siargao,” Surigao del Norte, Northern Mindanao.
