Two Chinese citizens arrested for selling drugs in Davao City

Two Chinese citizens have been arrested by police for their involvement in the illegal drug trade that is plaguing Davao City.

Sasa police served a warrant for arrest against Mykel Thurl Wee Sit Yu, a resident of Polaris Street in Nova Tierra Village in Lanang.

The warrant was issued against Yu for violation of Sections 11 and 12 of Republic Act 9165 (the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).

Also arrested was the suspects brother, Dwene Hensel Wee Sit Yu, after he attempted to prevent police from arresting his brother.

Police frisked the brother and found several sachets of shabu on him – also confiscated in the raid was a weighing scale, aluminum foil and cash amounting to 23,000 pesos.
