The Davao City Traffic and Transportation Management Office said they are expecting the arrival of two tow trucks in the first part of 2016.
Officials noted that the two tow trucks will help alleviate worsening issues within the city, including illegally parked vehicles and more.
A proposal to add four additional tow trucks has also been brought up for the 2017 budget. The trucks are said to come at a cost of nearly one million pesos.
The two tow truck which will be put into service this year will help the city enforce provisions associated with the City Traffic and Transportation Management Code which will now include towing.
