An Arab man lost more than 100,000 pesos in cash, as well as his identity cards, after he was caught in a triangle of the infamous Padede Girls gang in Ermita, Manila
To add insult to injury, the stolen money was reportedly intended to help a one-legged man that the victim was travelling to meet at a nearby mall.
56-year-old Anter Slayem Mubarak Salmeen Alnuaimi, from the United Arab Emirates, lost a total of 124,523 pesos as well as some crucial cards and documents.
One suspect so far has been identified as Lani Velasco of Tondo, Manila, who is believed to be a member of the “Sex Bomb Girls” gang.
The suspects are known by the name as they use their breasts as “weapons of mass distraction” to steal from foreigners.
In his complaint, the victim said he was walking in front of the Robinson mall on Pedro Gil, corner of Adriatico Streets in Ermita at around 8pm when he was targeted. He was reportedly on his way to a money changer to exchange foreign currency to give to his disabled friend.
Before the suspects left, the victim said, they even kissed him goodbye. It was only later he realised his wallet had been stolen.
