A room-boy at an exclusive resort and hotel in the region of Talisay has been arrested after hotel guests complained that their rooms were broken into.
Police say 34-year-old Joel N. Daza, a room attendant at Club Balai Isabela was arrested after an inquiry by hotel management and an investigation by local police.
The hotels guests who lost cash and valuables had just checked into the hotel/resort at 3pm on Thursday.
The seven British tourists had checked-in to three rooms. They were 75-year-old Roberta Lester; 56-year-old Helen Moore; 62-year-old Ken Swan; 56-year-old Margaret Swan; 35-year-old Ricky Swan; Bulacan residents Richard Moore, and Dalisay Lopez.
