Police are expecting up to six million people to attend the Eucharistic celebration of Pope Francis as he officiates mass at Quirino Grandstand in Manila.
The service will be held on January 18 during his visit to the Philippines.
The celebration of the Holy Eucharist in Manila is the last scheduled stop of the Pope during his four-day visit in the Philippines from January 15-19.
On the last papal visit to the Philippines, Pope John Paul II had five million people attend his World Youth Day in 1995. The crowd was the largest in history to see a Pope and is listed in the Guinness World of Records.
