The incident scared many Japanese visitors who were temporarily living in the city.

Authorities say that most of the incidents are happening in the city’s entertainment district, with many of the victims being Korean nationals who are enrolled in various universities throughout Baguio City.

Many of the foreign students only blottered the incidents and have refused to pursue the case for fear of retribution.
