Seized in the raid was one laptop computer, 35 personal computers, three telephone sets, four routers, four hubs, assorted cellular phones and other documentation which was confiscated in the raid. A warrant was served on the group which included a search warrant for violation of Republic Act #10175, the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.

A report said that the suspects pose as call centre agents who sell pornographic material to clients. They are then trained to target their buyers to talk sex online. The group would then record their online chat and phone conversations and later threaten to expose them online if they fail to pay money to them.

Sosa said they conducted the raids amid an information that the ‘call centre’ agents were engaged in ‘sextortion’ activities. He said that eight of the suspects arrested were females.
