No deaths after Baguio-bound bus plummeted down 37-ft ravine

All 44 passengers survived after a Victory Liner bus plummeted down a 37-foot ravine along the Marcos Highway on Tuesday.

The driver says he left the road after trying to avoid another vehicle in Taloy Sur Village in Tuba, Benguet on the approach to the city.

The driver and the ticket salesman said they were blinded by an oncoming truck, prompting him to swerve to the right and into the ravine – numerous passengers were treated at the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Centre for minor injuries they sustained in the crash.
