An inmate’s wife has been arrested after jail officers discovered she was hiding shabu in her vagina when she attempted to enter the jail facility in Lipa City on Thursday.
Police say 46-year-old Lanie Agojo was being searched by a female officer before she was to enter the jail facility, the officer found three sachets of shabu, totaling 9.7 grams, that was placed inside of a condom and inserted into her vagina.
Police say Agojo was to visit her husband and was put through a body search which is part of the visiting procedure at the jail.
Officials also noted that Agojo was watched closely as officers already suspected her of bringing drugs into the jail before.
Agojo’s husband, a suspected drug dealer, was arrested on January 6th of this year for possession of illegal drugs.
Agojo is detained at the police station in Lipa City and will be charged with possession of illegal drugs.
