Korean charged for drink driving after collision in Davao City

A Korean has been charged by the Davao City Prosecutor’s Office after he was involved in a road traffic accident.

Moo Hee Lee,aged 49,  a businessman and resident of Ladislawa Village in Buhangin was charged with reckless imprudence resulting in property damage, a violation of Republic Act 4136 and RA 10586 for drunken intoxication.

The complainant in the case claimed that he was driving along MacArthur Highway 10pm on August 12 when a speeding Toyota hit him from behind.

The person filing the complaint refused to be named.

Police claim that Lee was not only drunk at the time, but he was also driving without a licence, saying he just rented the car.

The complainant said he sustained damages of 68,653 pesos to his vehicle.
