North Cotabato Officials along with Governor Emmylou “Lala” Talino-Mendoza inaugurated the 40-million peso provincial museum along with the 27-million peso centennial pavilion in Kidapawan City this past week.
The museum houses artifacts from the diverse cultures of the province’s tri-people which include Christians, Muslims and Lumads.

The centennial pavilion mimics a basket to “symbolise our province in its real role as a food basket of Region #12,” said Governor Mendoza.
The structures, which comprise mostly of glass walls, will serve as additional amenities for the 2015 Kalivungan Festival to be held in September.
