Illegal recruiter arrested after sting operation in shopping mall

An illegal recruiter was arrested in an operation sting inside a mall in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte on Wednesday.

Police arrested Almie Rose Calipco in the entrapment after they received three complaints from her alleged victims.

Initial reports show Calipco is not registered with the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration. After her arrest nine other people showed up at the station claiming to be victimised by her.

Calipco will be charged with violating the Migrant Act of 1995.
