The publication describes itself as the “modern voice of Filipino culture” and its latest free issue is 100 pages long.

The launch edition features West End performer Rachelle Ann Go its cover and is full of content related to entertainment, events, art, culture fashion, health and beauty, as well as recipes, finance, sports and immigration issues.

“Once you see the quality as well, it’s not expected for it to be free. When you touch it and feel it, it’s really like a book,” explained editor-in-chief Miguel Livelo.

“What we tried to do was make something that was a bit more high-end. We have magazines, we have newspapers in the UK that are for Filipinos but we tried to go a little bit further,” he added.

The magazine will soon be distributed in other regions including Spain, Germany and Ireland.
