US Marshals have arrested 29-year-old Jonathan Dewayne Viane, the prime suspect in the killing of a 23-year-old woman who was found dead in San Felipe, Zamabales, just over a month ago.
Marshals arrested Viane in the state of Iowa. He is currently being held there, his extradition status at this time is unknown.
Viane and a second cohort, Niño de la Cruz, were both charged with murder before a Zambales regional trial court for the death of Karie Ces Mojica.
De la Cruz was arrested on August 12 by members of the Special Action Force in Metro Manila.
