A 68-year-old Filipina departing for Boracay was arrested at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) after a bullet was discovered in her carry-on bag.

Members of Philippine National Police Aviation Security Group arrested Revelina A Combis, a resident of South Poblacion, Dipaculao, Aurora, after a .45 cal. bullet was ‘found’ in her luggage.

She was arrested at 9.45am on Thursday at NAIA Terminal 3.

Mrs Combis was to board Philippine Airlines flight PR 2041 bound for Caticlan, Boracay when security personnel announced the discovery of the bullet.

The pensioner will be charged before the Pasay City Prosecutor’s Office with violating section #28 of Republic Act 10591 (the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act).
