The sister of Christina Andig, the girlfriend of Bradley Jay Fugate, identified the clothing of both victims by a photograph presented to her by the Dumaguete Coast Guard. The bodies of both victims were found in Mangsee Islet off the coast of Balbac, Palawan.
The Andig family said that the photo of Bradley and Christina showed them wearing clothes that they immediately recognised.
The FBI has taken up the case of the missing American, taking DNA samples to assure everyone that the body is correctly identified.
The images sent to the Andig family not only showed the bodies and their clothing but also the boat which was found partially sunk in Mangsee Islet.
So far there is no word on the whereabouts of Christina’s brothers who were reportedly on the boat when it left Dumaguete City.
However friends (see comments below) remain sceptical about the identification.
