Stephen Caseñas Bernido, formerly the second highest public official in Bohol, has been arrested at his residence in Pobacion, Jagna, Bohol. Police discovered ten sachets of shabu, marijuana leaves and various drug paraphernalia.
The former vice governor posted 200,000 pesos bail for his temporary release after the raid happened by a court-ordered search warrant.
Bernido, aged 62, was once a member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan in former Bohol Governor Rolando Butalid’s administration before he became vice governor.
